I had a lot of fun painting this portrait.

I wanted to do something large that would fit in with this exhibition, but I need a break from the pixel paintings that I was working on. The background was such a fun experience – I got to work with a local smash repairer and use bright red high-gloss car paint. The colours in the painting reflect the character of the sitter.
