Another experimental journey created this piece. Birdee’s silhouette was scored around the edges to keep the yellow background masked, this way I could paint her portrait and then remove the background tape. I had no idea what this work would come out like until I peeled the masking background away! 
 
Birdie has a ribbed perspex giving her a very different effect. Replaced with plain on request.
