The newest panels of public art have been installed in Cooke Park in Parkes. Elvis took over six months for me to complete. As a designer I am always yapping on about pixels and resolution. This gave me the idea to reproduce artworks using a pixelation method. There are over quarter of a million pixels in the artwork. Most have been painted twice or more. It gives him an almost shimmering effect.
At a distance you will notice he looks photo like, it is not until you approach that the pixels become visible.
